[text* booking-total-price] [text* booking-attendees-list id:booking-attendees-list]Your Ancient Rome tour will begin with the visit of the Colosseum. Once inside, our guide will tell you about the bloody past of the amphitheatre, showing the remains of the building and remembering the tales of gladiators, the terrible fightings against the animals, the attractive sea-battles and the cruel executions.
After a rest at the Arch of Constantine you will arrive at the Roman Forum. Here you will hear funny and interesting details about the political life in Rome and our guide will tell you about religion and ancient legends showing the most suggestive buildings of the area, as well as the Temple which houses the altar where Julius Caesar was cremated, and walking along the “Via Sacra” or “Sacred Way, the main path through the Roman Forum sparkling with festivals and triumphal processions.
From there we will go to the Palatine Hill- the most famous of the seven hills of Rome, knowing about the legend of Romulus and Remus, and discovering the life in the Imperial Age through the remains of the houses of Emperors Augustus and Domitian. With a panoramic view we will discover the Circus Maximus surrounded by modern Rome and we will tell you about the chariots races once held in the Circus.

This is a classic tour designed for tourists having their first time in Rome and only a short time. Is an almost complete journey in the Roman History with monuments selected to bring together all of the best that Ancient Rome has to offer.
Your English speaking guide will be able to bring the ruins to life for you leading the way in a pleasant walk in the past. It will be a suggestive experience not possible without an expert guide and above all without an highly trained archaeologist!
